Story
Ive been doing Endurance events since 2011 and im fed up with people telling me i should raise money for charity for these events, Im not one for asking for money/donations as it just makes me feel uncomfortable, Ive finally come around to doing it for charity now so here i am!
Im entering 'Bristol to London' cycle ride 117miles in one day http://www.action.org.uk/action_100_bristolbath_london for Medical research for children on the 25 August 2013 (Donations on this page will go to Dementia uk)
Two weeks later..
Im also entering Rad-Am-Ring 24hour event 7-8th September 2013,Yes its 24 hours of continuous cycling! http://www.radamring.de/en/ Its a 15 mile race track set in the Eifle mountains in Germany and is by far the worst 15 mile circuit ive ever cycled due to the mountains you have to cycle up, The longest is over 3 miles long and gets steeper and steeper, So to do more than one lap is far from easy, In 2011 I managed 10 laps (160 miles) In 2012 I did 11 laps (175 miles) 2013 ......!? Perhaps the extra charity money will push me further !?
My Gramp was diagnosed with Dementia in 2012 so it seemed a fitting charity to help support.
