We provide a health & wellbeing programme to help children with learning difficulties

Story

Kerstin and I have been very touched by all the kind and generous donations from friends family and patients to this good cause. Thank you so much for bothering to take the time to come onto this page. We know all too well the time sapping nature of on-line life these days. Your generous help and the time you are taking is really much appreciated.

Already we are well on the way to reaching our target for the charity. As you can see from the photos here, the Sunflower Trust is all about helping young people make the most of themselves and stepping beyond any learning difficulties they have experienced. However, the funds are not just an easy way to subsidise my practice! As well as paying for professional staff to run the charity and support all the families who contact them, we also have trained a number of health professionals in the UK and Germany in these advanced change skills. Seeing one of these skilled practitioners takes time and money. As well as research and support the Sunflower Trust works hard to support families in financial need with bursaries.

All my  life I  have been  curious as to how we can change the world through changing ourselves. Learning and teaching about all the fascinating ways in which we can help ourselves be and feel more than we suspected, has taken me all around the world, over the years.

Much of the focus of my studies and teaching has revolved around changing lives, having fun, making a difference and being the best I could be.

Throughout my working life, I have been involved in a number of fund raising activities.  This year, I  am  not traveling far a field, but instead, Kerstin and I, along with good friends from Sweden, Francine & David, are embarking upon a 200 mile Coast-to-Coast walk from St Bees on the West coast of to Robin Hood's Bay on the East coast.

Why are we doing this? Well, not only to  hopefully have some, slightly masochistic, fun, but Kerstin and I are also doing it  to make a difference to the lives of others by raising funds for The Sunflower Trust, a charity dedicated to increasing public awareness of the value of The Sunflower Programme to children with learning difficulties.

The Sunflower Programme is a totally natural, integrated and non-invasive treatment that can help children to realise their true potential at school and in life. The programme assists children to become healthy and balanced, and to develop a positive outlook on life.

The Sunflower Trust offers bursary funding to families in financial hardship so that their children can benefit from the Sunflower programme. We are walking to raise money so that more deserving families can receive this funding and help their children step into a brighter future.
