We have our annual Dragon Boat Race on the 13th July. This year we are fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Motor neurone disease is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease killing a third of those affected within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis, there really is no time to wait.

The money will fund three key initiatives:

1.    MND care centres
2.    The pioneering voice banking initiative
3.    MNDA’s whole genome sequencing research (Project MinE)

Our team is called the ‘Coalition of Covfefe’ (Can be pronounced as 'co-fayfay' or  'cuv-fey-fey') after Donald Trump’s infamous tweet. Hence all 16 paddlers will have Trump Masks or a selection of political leaders...any preference?
