This year Lloyds Banking Group is supporting the Alzheimer's Society's Live Well Campaign. Colleagues are aiming to raise £2 million to launch the first UK wide dementia carers programme, providing vital support to families & friends of loved ones who suffer from this incurable condition.

 

In November 35 colleagues will take part in a Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge across Costa Rica that will push them to their limits, both physically and mentally. It will be a gruelling seven day journey along dirt tracks with only essential supplies to hand, showing the team's commitment to making a real difference to our society by going that extra mile!

 

We hope to raise over £140,000 in support of this incredible cause and our journey starts now. It will take endless hours of training over the next five months plus significant fundraising efforts to achieve our goal.

 

My personal goal is to raise over £4,000! No mean feat but well worth the effort to help bring this programme to life & make a difference to the lives of those families that live with dementia.
