Hi my name’s Colin Badcock and I’m taking part in Weston Hospicecare’s exclusive challenge event: ‘I’m a Boss Get me Out of Here’ on Friday 22 February 2013.

I’ll be leaving behind my office comforts to battle my way through North Somerset’s wilderness; lighting fires, dodging creepy crawlies and foraging for food (then eating it in the cringing ‘Bush Tucker Trial’) to raise funds for Weston Hospicecare!

Weston Hospicecare is a charity which provides vital care and support free of charge to patients and their families. With only 19% funding from the NHS, Weston Hospicecare relies on 81% sponsorship from generous donations to help raise the £3million it will cost to continue providing these services to those who really need it over the coming year.

I’ll be raising a minimum of £400, which could help pay to cover the cost of running the entire Hospice and all its activities for an hour. The event is expected to bring in over £4,400, which could pay to run Weston Hospicecare’s Day Hospice Service for a whole week.
