Update on Tuesday 22nd June

The walk is going well, I have reached the Scottish Borders on the St Cutherbert's Way the walk is going well although it is hot and dry underfoot, no blisters or injuries yet! 

Update on Wednesday 4th August

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me.  I finished the walk at John O'Groats on Monday 19th July.  The walk took 82 days averaging 15 miles a day mainly on long distance footpaths wtih some fantastic scenery and views.  My faith in people has been restored since I met some wonderful individuals on the way.  One or two of them even offered me a bed for the night and others sponsored me. I am delighted that to report that in total I have raised nearly £2,500 towards the Ripon Cathedral Organ Restoration.  It's not too late to make a donation on line.
