Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Muriel & myself have taken on a challenge to paddle in our kayak's from Fort William to Inverness. The journey is 63 miles along the caledonian canal passing through Loch Lochy, Loch Oich & Loch Ness.

We are starting at Fort William on the 30th of July and hope to be in Inverness by Thursday the 4th of August (weather permitting). We will be doing this trip with three walkers,(Mark Sheriff, James Letford & Bobby MacAllister) who will be walking the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness. With the friendly challenge of seeing who reaches the the final destination first.

We have chosen the Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund as we think it's a very worthy cause. The memorial fund hopes to raise sufficient funds to build a purpose built property with the highest standard of facilities, for families who need a break in comfortable and safe surroundings, within easy reach of Stirling (a central location with many activities, tourist attractions and beautiful countryside) and where they can spend quality time together. The aim is to provide respite for families across the UK, with young people up to the age of 21 who are in treatment for, recovering from cancer or who have suffered a similar bereavement.

So please donate as much or as little as you would like

thanks again Colin & Muriel
