Teens Unite Fighting Cancer has been established to help young people build
on their low self esteem, self confidence and to reduce the feeling of
isolation, realising that others are facing similar challenges.
I am a 50 year old London Taxi Driver who hasn’t run for over 20 years but on the 11July 2010, I will be taking part in the 10K for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.
In December 2009, my 18 year old Nephew Joe Hart was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Teens Unite Fighting Cancer is a charity that makes such a big difference to young cancer sufferers.
The 11 of July is also my 51 Birthday …..I definitely won’t be the quickest round the course and 10K is sure to feel more like 30K, but one way or another I will finish!
Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
