Story
Hello to everyone
You all know that you are my favourite people in all the world, so please excuse the intrusion into your extremely busy days working for the greatest companys in the world. If you did spit your coffee out then I apologise! It could be the excuse you need to get that new monitor you’ve been after.
As some of you may be aware my managing director at ISS, Steve Mitchell managed to manipulate Steve Robinson, Liz Graham and myself into doing the London to Brighton Bike ride this year, which is a 54 mile cycle ride from the centre of London to Brighton sea front. Now for someone who is relatively fit, can ride a bike and is generally motivated this would not be an issue. But to me this poses the biggest challenge of my life so far and couple that with having to wear LYCRA and the possibilities of ‘chaffing’ then this is near impossible. So rather than imagining Sir Bradley Wiggins riding out for team ISS on Sunday 16 June at 07:00hrs, imagine Mr Blobby only just managing to stay upright whilst having a mild asthma episode. Due to the event being in aid of the British Heart Foundation simply just throwing my toys out and declining not to do it is morally not an option, if only I didn’t have a conscience.
So to the main thing, raising the required £250.00 for CHARITY. I know we all give in our own ways but I would be grateful if you could spare whatever you can and sponsor me in the first instance, and if you’ve got anything left over from your bonus, sponsor my colleagues Steve and Liz. £0.01p-£100.00 would be received the same as its the thought that counts.
Please take a trip to my just giving page to donate:

Now for those of you who donate I will be able to supply some very fetching pictures of me in lycra, which can never be used against me in the future, along with various training updates and general info on my training progress up to the event. For those who want to see me in pain they will only be available if you donate a higher amount. I know the way you all think.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
