Once again, all being well, I shall be cycling the 85 miles from Oxford to Cambridge on 23rd June with a group from Pembroke College, Cambridge - including fellows, staff, and students - to raise funds for Pembroke House, a charitable foundation based in Walworth, South London.

You can find out more about the work of the foundation here. With the current economic situation, and facing sharp cuts in government funding, Pembroke House increasingly relies on the generosity of donors and sponsors. For those interested this link gives some indication of the route.

This year, I have an additional handicap, having mashed up my achilles tendon in March, so training is lacking and I'm hoping the physiotherapy will work!
