Hi ,i received the fund raising pack today for the Great North Run ,started my fund raising page on Just Giving yesterday . I have to admit it has been an eye opener for me . I am like most people, until it affects you its the usual "its OK as someone else will help". This year a dear friend of my Fiancee developed Breast Cancer and to watch her go through this awful life changing Disease is just heartbreaking . I wanted to do something to help,but as i found out there not a lot you can do but be there for them and raise money to help fight this . so here I am . until this happened I had not realised how many people it affects  . being a typical bloke I tend to hide my emotions and not talk about things like this but one thing i can do is make a fool of myself ,so I decided to run the Great North Run in fancy dress . i work in a Nursing home in and last year we did a Christmas show where I was one of the supremes . bare in mind I am 6 foot 6   and have a beard lol.

 if I raise over £600 ill wear a massive Pink Wig 

if I raise over £1000 ill colour the beard pink

If i raise over £1100 ill wear full Pink make up

If i raise over £1200 ill carry 30 pink balloons
