I'm taking part in this year's Great North Run, donating all my sponsorship to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. My mother-in-law, Brenda Fox, lost her battle with the condition in 2004. Since then I've been raising money and awareness in hope that one day a cure or life extending treatment can be found to make this cruel condition less devastating.
