My story

The Commando Spirit Appeal on behalf of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund is aiming to raise £1M for Royal Marines and their families in need and you can help us by making a donation here.
Our Royal Marines work in dangerous and difficult circumstances, leaving their loved ones behind, risking injury and even death on behalf of their country. With more of the serving Corps deployed on operations than ever in their history, it is inevitable that more strain will be put on our service charities.
They put their lives on the line for us. And when our Royal Marines and their families and loved ones need help, we want to ensure that they get it.
So the Commando Spirit Appeal's mission is simple; to raise £1 million by 2014 for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
Please donate here now.
If you are interested in supporting oiur Appeal directly please visit: www.commandospirit.com.
The RMCTF has the widest purposes of almost any service charity – helping the wounded and injured; providing support for those still serving by funding decompression activities, homecoming events, memorials and much more; providing through-life support to those who have left the Corps and sadly but importantly grants to those whose loved ones die in service.
Quite simply, the RMCTF will help when others cannot.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
