CARE International is a humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

Story

The fundamental goal of the community project in Laos is to improve the health and livelihood of the poorest communities. The project will achieve its goal by implementing activities in three main areas: installation of water, sanitation and irrigation systems; generate income for families through agro-enterprise activities; and improve their health, hygiene, and nutrition.

We will have the privilege of witnessing first-hand what our fundraising efforts are helping to achieve. In addition, we will be cycling a total distance of 450km's through the hills of Laos, a feat that is not taken lightly!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CARE International UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
