I am running the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon for Action Cancer this November.

I have never ran a marathon before but I am determined to complete this iconic race for such a worthwhile charity. In today's society, everyone is affected by cancer and the impacts it has. My dad has successfully overcome cancer, and I want to help Action Cancer to ensure more people can pull through this challenging disease.

I hope that, by taking part in the NYC Marathon, I will help to raise money which will be used to help those fighting cancer and their loved ones locally here in Northern Ireland.
