"The mountains are calling and I must go". This time it's The White Mountain, Mont Blanc that I hear loud and clear.

On the 27th June I'll join my fellow adventurers on a challenge of a life-time. Climbing Mont Blanc requires true mental and physical resilience as well as real teamwork. We are all excited (and slightly apprehensive!) about the epic challenge to climb Europe's highest mountain and to push us to new limits.

Unlike my team mates, I only really started training last weekend by climbing several mountains in Ireland with my Dad (82 years old) and a rucksack filled with 40kgs of turf! 

However the tough training will be worth is as I can't wait to climb with my Samsung friends and enjoy a safe summit sunrise on the 4,810m peak in early July.

Whilst this is a huge opportunity to push ourselves outside our comfort zone, we are all doing it with heartfelt support for the children and families that The Lily Foundation support so passionately.
