We use sport to empower young people to be confident, healthy, and happy.

Story

Jump 130ft off a platform for a great view of the River Clyde! Why not?

That’s exactly what Yosof Ewing and Lynne Sneddon were persuaded to do by Michelle Ferguson of Scottish Sports Future to help raise funds for the charity. Not only would the spectacular views of Glasgow be worth jumping off the 130 ft (40m) platform for, but the adrenaline rush from flying 1000 ft (105m) over the River Clyde suspended from a wire would be second to none. Sounds exciting! Let's hope we have a head for heights.

The organisation uses basketball as a positive diversion for introducing young people, especially those living in disadvantaged communities, to sport and healthy living. It currently coordinates the Twilight Basketball and Jump2it programs and has a number of other projects planned for the next 3 years.

So please help us raise money to support this worthwhile charity by digging deep into your pockets and making a donation. And if you can, come along and support us on the day, if only to see us scream with terror as we jump off the platform! Our jumps are scheduled for 12:30pm.

About the charity

Our vision is a world where young people have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. We use sport as a catalyst to enable young people to be healthier, more confident and more resilient, so they are better prepared to combat the effects of poverty, trauma and adversity.
