<p>To my dear gorgeous friends who have stuck by me through the good and bad times. you may never know how grateful i am to you for your love and support... and to all of you gorgeous souls who i do not yet know.. thank you for reading this. most of</p>
<p>As you know, I have had ME for a very long time (over 30 years) and until I found the optimum Health clinic (My London Clinic as i refer to it!) where i have been having treatment, my health was progressively deteriorating with horrible effects.</p>
<p>As you will know, I love life and a laugh and getting out and about and in to everything, but my illness put an end to doing that. Without an enormous amount of planning pacing and careful expenditure of energy i could not leave the house and then I faced days in bed feeling so ill i couldnt do basic things like walk to the loo or get myself a drink without help. I couldnt stand noise, many of you had to whisper when you visited!! i couldnt make sense of what was going on, walking was a huge issue just round the house let alone getting to the car and collpasing on my back was a regular issue.</p>
<p>Then by fluke I discovered the clinic and thanks to a lot of input from Lesley my biomedical nutritionalist educating me about the state of my body and how to look after it and what to eat and avoid and what supplements to take to improve my health and the psychology team teaching me sound techniques to manage the health of my body and mind I am now at the point where i think i maybe on the road to recovery... YES!!!!!.</p>
<p>I can now drive, walk for up to 10 minutes on a very good day. I can watch tv listen to music, stay out for 2-3 hours and am going to do some voluntary work in a local school in sept.</p>
<p>Compared to how i was 18 months ago before my treatment at the clinc THIS IS A MIRACLE and needs celebrating!</p>
<p>The clinic's support has given me back my life and hope that i may recover from this devestating illness that recks lives and without this clinic there can be no hope of recovery</p>
<p>To celebrate feeling so much better and to show my appreciation and dedication to the clinic I am going to do something I always wanted to but was to scared and never thought i would be well enough to do....a tandem paraglide.....i saw someone doing it from a mountain in Vancouver years ago and now its my chance to fly.... im petrified but after all I have come through I know i can do it and I hope you will be able to support me and the clinc in cheering me on (and possibly pushing me off the hill ... if im wibbling!!!) and raising money for the clinic so other people have the chance to recover too... after often years of isolation, misunderstanding , sruggle and dispair as this illness is still so misunderstood my the medical profession.</p>
