Story
Dear Friends, Cornerstone members, Nigerians and those who care about Nigeria,
The chances are that if you are from Nigeria or have family or friends from Nigeria that you will have lost a loved one or heard about someone losing a loved one because of the lack of proper healthcare there.
I work for a charity called Cornerstone Foundation (Global) as the Project Manager of the 'Touch the Future Capital Campaign 2008 -2012'.
Cornerstone Foundation (Global) and Babcock University, Nigeria, are doing their part to help the ordinary Nigerian men, women and children through an international fundraising campaign running in Nigeria, the United States and the United Kingdom throughout 2008 – 2012.
This campaign will build the Ben Carson College of Health and Medical Sciences.
It will include a 750-bed teaching hospital with a 200-bed Children's Hospital and a 250-bed Women's Hospital.
It will have five schools of medicine to train Doctors, Nurses and Pharmacists.
It will also have a research centre to allow medical research to be done in Africa to a world class standard.
If you feel you have the time to help this cause by doing some voluntary work for Cornerstone then please contact me.If you feel that just making a small/large donation would suit you a little better then please make a donation here.
Don’t forget to leave your message of support, you are just as much part of why lives will be saved in Nigeria as we. We would not be able to help those in need without you!
Please pass this on. Good things happen everyday, be part of it! Thank you.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you for your support!
