The Gorilla Organization works to protect the endangered mountain gorilla in its native habitat. It also works to ensure that local people benefit from their unique natural heritage. The Organization, founded by the late Dian Fossey who lived with the gorillas, is involved in education, conservation and public awareness.

My story

These gorillas are fortunate enough to have jobs in the corporate department of a major City law firm. They hold exciting meetings (although without any biscuits) and have numerous education sessions on the phased implementation of the Companies Act 2006. Their friends and family back in the jungle are not so lucky. Not only do those in the jungle not get to do interesting transactional work, providing a first class service to a broad range of private equity and corporate clients, but they are critically endangered and face extinction.

Help the Corpor-Apes save the remaining 700 mountain gorillas. Sponsor us to run through London in all our furry glory as we take on the challenge of the Great Gorilla Run. Marvel at our nimbleness and fleetness of foot, honed in the mountains of Rwanda and the meeting rooms of the City. By taking part in this fundraising run, we are hoping to help build a brighter future for the world's most endangered gorillas.
