Story

Seventeen of us are taking on the challenge of walking the 84 miles of Hadrian's Way over three days between 29 June and 2 July. For everyone a personal challenge but also an opportunity to raise money for our chosen charity.

After a successful weekend taking on the challenge of walking the 84 miles of Hadrian’s Way everyone is back at work with aches, pains and the odd blister. Six people (Andy, Colin, Jason, Mark, Michael and Mo) completed the full gruelling challenge including 34 miles on the second day whilst everyone else completed over 64 miles involving a first day marathon of 30 miles.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
