I forgot to say that I also have a plain old paper sponsor form as well so if anyone feels more comfortable donating the old fashioned way please inbox or text me and I will put your name and donation down. I am so close to my £500 target now. Please help me smash through it!
A big thank you to those who sponsored me yesterday and in the weeks previously. I am now just £100 from my target!
So here we go. After a slight "break" from training after a quiet stag do in Budapest I am now less than a week away from my challenge. Some good training this week should see me almost fit and raring to go for Sunday. In all seriousness if you haven't donated to a very worthy cause then please do and help to spur me on those 13 miles through Birmingham city centre! Your support is very much appreciated x
Hi all. I have hit six weeks to go until my run! Seemed like a good idea when I signed up but its now getting very real! Fortunately the football season is well under way and being out reffing is helping my fitness tremendously. All I can ask is if you haven't already, please donate whatever you can to a very worthy cause in memory of my Dad. Your support will spur me on those extra miles round Birmingham! Thanks
Training is proving difficult but I am still very determined to complete the distance but in what time I don't know! Can I ask that if you have not donated and you knew my dad then please give whatever you can. Your extra support will spur me on those extra miles required and help raise money for a very worthy cause
So now with Sarah and baby Joseph home its time to push on with my training. Please have a look at my page and donate to a very worthy cause. Thanks.

All new running gear bought today definitely inspired me. Felt good out on my run. Please continue to show your support and help me achieve my newly set target of £500 in memory of my Dad.
14.3 miles ran this week over 4 sessions. Now to get that down to 13.2 miles in one session and I will be laughing! 140 days to go!

Wednesday 22nd May 2013 would have been my Dad, Ian's, 56th Birthday. However on 6th February 2011 he lost his battle with Liver disease and passed away peacefully at Kettering General Hospital aged just 53.
With his birthday approaching I have decided that I want to take on a challenge in his memory and this challenge is going to be the Bupa Great Birmingham Run on 20th October this year. This will see me (hopefully!) completing a 13.2 mile course through Birmingham city centre.
I am asking for people to donate sponsorship in my Dads memory for me to complete this run and all monies raised will go to the British Liver Trust. They work hard to raise awareness of this truly devestating disease, whilst supporting sufferers and their families and this is a caue extremly close to my heart.
