About a year ago, I decided I wasn't the role model I wanted to be for my children.  Yes, I work hard; yes, I take care of my family, but I'm not so good at taking care of myself.  So I started cycling.  I am still very much a novice but I wanted to do something that would drive me to keep going, and that's where this cycle event comes in.  As a fundraiser for the Prince's Trust, the Palace to Palace is a 45 mile bike race that raises money for those in dire straits--those who could use a helping hand to get out from under the burdens life has thrown their way.  If I can model for my kids how to be a good person while also showing them how to be healthy, why would I not?  This is my first fundraiser and physical challenge of this sort EVER, so please help.  Your support would mean so much on so many levels!  Thanks!
