This year, I said to myself that I'll be saying 'Yes' to things more than I say 'No'. I've eaten different foods, been to different places, and now I've decided to up the anti and improve my fitness to enter the EDF Birmingham Half Marathon.
Having played football and squash every week since the start of the year, I think that my level of fitness has improved vastly, and i see this half marathon as the next challenge. In preparation for it, I have joined a running club, and even scaled Snowdon and ran back down in a total time of 1 Hour 55 Minutes!!
I have chosen Acorns as my charity because of all the hard work that they have done and continue to do for children and their families around the West Midlands. It costs £6 million a year to support the families, and £4500 a day to run each of the hospices.
As a supporter of Aston Villa, I appreciate all the support that the club have given to Acorns, and I would like to help them in their continued effort.
