The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 49 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you maybe fully aware now, my daughter Ebony was born at 26wks gestation (14wks premature), and weighed 511g (1.1lb). We are very lucky to have her with us, if it wasn't for the dedication and professionalism of the neo-natal staff in looking after her.

We are simply trying to raise money for the unit to pay for vital equipment, clothing, bedding, and all other daily costs incurred on the unit to which they need vital funds to carry onwith the excellent work they do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
