On Friday 28th October I am raising money for the Effingham & District Community First Responder Scheme for which I am the Coordinator. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal
We are a voluntary group of normal village residents who attend medical emergencies in the community after a 999 call is place. We are able to provide life saving support and treatment prior to an ambulance's arrival, and by doing so can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
We assist our communities in Leatherhead, Fetcham, Bookham, Effingham, The Horsley's, Ockham, Send, Ripley and Cobham.
We are completely reliant on public and charitable donations, thus meaning we receive no government or NHS funding for services or upkeep.
