On Saturday 25th February, Geoff and Norah participated in the 2012 Strictly Learn Dancing extravaganza, which was held in the Centenary Hall in Berkhamsted.

What an experience it was. Hats off to the Hospice of Saint Francis for coming up with the idea of taking 18 couples with no experience of ballroom dancing, giving them 6 weeks of waltz & jive lessons, presenting them on stage as showbiz stars and then judging them on what they’d learnt. It certainly was a challenging, nail-biting experience but everyone pulled it off and a great night was had by all.

Here's some examples of what your donations can do for the Hospice:

£25 could pay for a whole day's supply of oxygen for a patient with breathing difficulties.

£50 could pay for 12 patients to have lunch in the Hospice's Inpatient Unit.

£150 could pay for a child to have three councelling sessions with a specialist Children's Support Worker after experiencing the loss of a loved one.
