We are not seasoned runners so please give generously - 13.1 miles may seem like only half a marathon to you but to us it is a very long way. Oh, and quite importantly the cash isn't for us it is for Save The Children which is a fantastic charity that does loads of stuff in lots of places, and almost exclusively with children and in places where stuff really does needs to happen, so that really is all very good.

The Crouch End Tigers have done a little bit of running and even managed to complete this race once before. Tigger is fortunate to return, she caused nasty facial injuries to many of her fellow competitors last time with her unique horizontal elbows style of running. A risk, you might think, for her long time running companion - The Tiger. Fortunately The Tiger's lanky and unpredictable bounding, combined with sporadic bursts of gastro-propulsion, helps keep 'elbows Hicks' at a safe distance. Together they are quite a team. When you throw into the mix Hidden Duncan they may yet become a formidable force.  

Hidden Duncan's running style (and ability) is a mystery to everyone in the civilised world, and has never been seen outside Norwich. Those who know him have told those who don't to expect an initial burst of boyish sports-day-like playful (and maybe even pacy) enthusiasm, but have warned that this will quickly descend into many gasping, sorry miles of plodding neanderthal fist-dragging. No one who knows Hidden Duncan, however, would doubt his ability to ultimately complete the course...sweat-sodden and heavily chafed, but grinning and with just enough reserves to put in a remarkable, stumbling, sprint finish.
