My story
Loneliness and isolation affects more than 75,000 elderly people in London alone. 1 in 10 elderly people feel instense loneliness nationwide, that's one million people! 50% of these people say that television is their primary source of comapny.
As a Team v Leader, i'm running a campaign to try and combat this issue, by organising events for the elderly and try and help rebuild relationships in their commuinty, to help them feel a little less isolated.
I'm running to raise awareness of this issue and help elders fight loneliness, and to give something back to the generation that has given us so much.
