On September 30th 2010 at dawn, the Cutting Edge team reached the edge of the Kilimanjaro crater at Gilman's Point. Jo Cresswell, David Chadwick and Duncan Harris continued on to reach Uhuru Peak (the summit) at 8am.

The climb was very tough, with altitude sickness a problem to many in the team. The lack of oxygen made every step an effort. However, we were rewarded with fantastic weather and amazing views from the top.

We are delighted with the response to our fundraising efforts and are grateful to everyone who contributed.
