With over 1 million young people out of work I thought it was worth putting myself through the pain barrier to cycle the 900 miles that is the LEJOG challenge to raise funds to finance at least 25 youth apprenticeships in Calderdale.

 

The final countdown to the big challenge is underway and although we are thrilled that over £70,000 has been raised and 24 young people are now in apprenticeships or about to start- we don't want to stop there!
