<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"> <strong><em>On Tuesday 31st May we will cycle from Lancaster University to Huddersfield University (a long, hilly, gruelling ride through the infamous Trough of Bowland, along the </em></strong><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">old Roman road, ‘Back Lane’, riding past Widdop Reservoir and towards Hebdon Bridge, a distance of approximately 80 miles/130 kms)<span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">.</span></em></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">We are raising money for the Study Group charity Building Futures. Study Group matches all funds raised by staff or students. The money raised will go towards educational projects in under-developed countries, giving children in these areas a bright, new future. Building Futures has already funded 5 projects in Indonesia, Brazil, China, Benin and Vietnam. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">Building Futures was established by Study Group in the aftermath of the 2006 Asian Tsunami. With a mission to bring education and opportunity to some of the poorest regions of the world, Building Futures has partnered with Plan International to fund the building of five schools in Indonesia, Benin, Brazil, China, and Vietnam. The proceeds of the Cycle Challenge 2011 will go towards building the sixth.</span></p>
