Story
Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page.
Adam and myself are both novice cyclists who enjoy the benefits of getting out and about on bikes as well as the obvious health benefits.
Taking this a step further, we decided to challenge ourselves and our fitness by completing a 65 mile cycle for an inspirational charity close to both of our hearts.
The ride will start in Huntingdon, before we weave our way through Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Leicestershire. The constant presence of church steeples on the horizon gives this challenge it's name. This will be the furthest distance either of us has cycled so far and we will be aiming to complete this in 4 hours or less.
The RAF Benevolent Fund looks after the entire RAF family. From the pilots flying aircraft all across the world, to the chefs, stewards and adminers back in the UK and deployed on Ops. The families and dependants are also supported, no matter what, by the RAF Benevolent Fund.
The massive difference made by the RAF Benevolent Fund is not only felt by all in the RAF family whilst serving, but after military life as well.
87p out of every pound donated, goes straight to where it is needed the most. Our lads and lasses.
Thank you.
