Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I'm cycling twice across Scotland with Bob Brightman and Gordon Wood to raise funds for: Ace Centre (Bob), Afghan Heroes (Gordon) and Parkinson's UK (Me). We will be cycling for 6 days, averaging 50 miles a day (300 miles altogether) and gaining a total of 9500 feet during the ride (one hill alone is 11 miles long and climbs 1200 feet!). Also, a further 6 people are joining us for the first section of the ride: Marty, Nikki (Negi), Peregrine, Reg, Seth and Tony will be riding from Inverness to Fort William and supporting the three charities mentioned above or their own favourite chairity.

If you would like to support any of the others, please go to their Just Giving pages by clicking here... Bob,  Gordon, Nikki or Reg.

We'll be updating our blog if you'd like to find out how we're getting on, please click here

Our route starts in Inverness and follows towpaths along the Caledonian Canal past Loch Ness to Fort William. From here we will stay on Scotland’s west coast and drop south to Oban before heading back east to Glasgow and picking up the Forth & Clyde Canal which will take us to our finishing point in Edinburgh.

Thank you so much for supporting us... and now the standard blurb...
