St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

Story

In 2011 our beloved grandma Diana Jones died in St Richards Hospice of cancer. She was very well looked after when she was in St Richards and all of our family and friends who know St Richards and knew our Grandma would agree that it was the best place for her. The staff and people at St Richards were amazing, they gave Diana and all of her family brilliant support at the time that we all needed it. In 2012 William, Edward, our Auntie Nicola, our Uncle Andrew, my Father Chris and I all cycled 180 miles between Bristol and Westminster and raised a amazing £3000 for St Richards. In 2014 Edward, William and I walked 63 miles along the Cotswold way and raised another £1000 for St Richards.

This Summer Edward, William and I plan to cycle 600 kilometres (372 miles) along the north sea route of Holland in five days, we will be averaging around 72.4 miles of cycling per day, this will be about five to seven hours solid cycling per day.

We are aiming to raise £2000 for St Richards this time so if you want to sponsor us then any donation counts so please don't hesitate.
