War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. We protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones across the world. Your support today will help us reach even more children in need.

Story

Thank you for getting this far and visiting our fundraising page.   We are driving the CzechWrecks (www.czechwrecks.com) rally this year, driving over 1500 miles across six countries including two days in the Alps in a car worth less than £100.

This will all be amazing fun, but there is a serious side to our trip.  we are raising money for War Child.  War Child International is a network of independent organisations, working across the world to help children affected by war.  They operate under the lofty and very noble goal to advance the cause of peace through investing hope in the lives of children caught up in the horrors of war.  I encourage anyone reading this to visit their website here (www.warchild.org) to find out more about the brave, postive and often very dangerous work they partake around the world.

Every penny we raise will go to War Child and all running costs will be coming out of our own pockets.   The work War Child does affects every one of us, especially in the current global political climate, but also has such an incredible impact on the individual lives of children caught up in our wars.  Please donate whatever you can to help them continue their amazing work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: War Child will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us to help War Child now!

Many thanks for your support.
