Story
Im racing in the UK Ironman Triathlon (2.4miles swim, 112miles cycle, 26.2miles run) this sunday 22nd July in Memory of Martin, my Twin Brother. His life was cut short after he was fatally injured in Afghanistan on 21st February 2010, whilst serving as 2nd in Command of A company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment. He died after succumbing to his injuries on 15th March 2010 thankfully with our family by his side.
I miss him tremendously, and am racing to fulfil a dream he had of us both racing an Ironman together.
SSAFA Bereaved Families and Siblings Groups have been tremendous at supporting not only my family but many others. There support is life long as is our memory of Martin; Captain Martin Driver 1 Royal Anglian / 4PARA.....an Airbourne Viking
