Hi there,

Welcome to my JustGiving site which I have opened to make raising some money for Havens Hospice as manageable as possible whilst I am in the process of embarking on a tough training regime to prepare my body and mind for the 26.1 miles that await me in April.

With the marathon fast approaching I am now reducing the training ready for the carb loading stage, at this stage I will be eating pasta for breakfast !!

My times per mile are improving with every run, it is nice to be running in nice weather at last !!

Interesting facts:

342 miles run in training to date

This is approximately 47 hours worth of training !

My longest run to date is 18 Miles

This will be the first time I will compete in a full marathon

I have lost approximately 43,000 calories over the course of the training programme.
