<div style="a: visitied{color;"> <h2 style="color: #7c0000;"> </h2> <h2 style="margin: 0.83em 0cm;">El Presidente</h2> <h2 style="color: #7c0000;"> Dumball 2012: Back to Black El Presidente are not only taking part in <a href="www.dumball.org">Dumball 2012: Back to Black</a> , but are looking to uphold the honour bestowed on them last time (see 'Blow the Doors Off'). So what's it about ? Well it's simple - a mad dash (it's not a race!) across Europe in a load of old bangers. Dumball 2012 promises to be bigger and even better than ever. We are driving to the Ukraine via no less than 14 amazing countries, fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust as we go. As well as driving the length of Italy, zipping through Albania, and hitting the Carpathian mountains in Romania, we are visiting Moldova and Ukraine for the first time ever. Check out the route map <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2ytQrLS8JU">here</a> Here's what this sorry bunch of misfits had to say when they applied to join the Dumball: As guardians of The Spirit of the Dumball we have no choice but to enter this antirational journey to be fair. Having been through hell and high water to walk off with the top prize last time, we are honoured to return in 2012 and defend (quite literally) our position.... The team will be undertaking various fundraising activities in the lead up to the event to encourage those wishing to donate. We will be holding a Pre-Dumball Party where our ride will be unveiled, along with an epic '4 Marathons in 4 Weeks' by one nutty team member ! Dave Rogers is undertaking the 'Test of Tests' when he lays down 165,120 steps by participating in the following events: Brighton Marathon (Sunday 15th April), NOW COMPLETED - 3:13:13 **PB** Virgin London Marathon (Sunday 22nd April), Greater Manachester Marathon (Sunday 29th April) and finally the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon (Monday 7th May). Both Richard and Chris are very proud of being in such 'superhuman' company - we hope that you can see your way to boosting the fundraising target as that is what Dave is doing this for......GO DAVE Now the important bit. Since 2007, the Dumball has been raising money for the <a href="http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/">Teenage Cancer Trust</a> to build a state-of-the-art unit at a recognised centre of excellence, the Royal Marsden Hospital. This is <a href="http://www.royalmarsden.nhs.uk/news-events/news/20110929">now open</a>, thanks in part at least to the fundraising efforts of Dumballers.
