Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

On 9th September we will be participating in the Wheels for Change 100km cycle starting and finishing in the Olympic Park.

For those of you who know us you'll know that 2 of us are quite experiened cyclists & the other 3 of us are, well, not so experienced. So it could be quite a challenge.......

Like last year, Wheels for Change is raising money for the Prince’s
Trust, one of Barclays’ UK charity partners. The Prince’s Trust
specifically focuses on 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed,
struggling at school or at risk of exclusion.

At Barclays we want to help the next generation achieve their ambitions.
Our 5 Million Young Futures goal is our commitment to do this and by
working with organisations like the Prince’s Trust we are able to
support the next generation, helping them to build stronger futures for
themselves and their families. This fundraising initiative will help to
invest in the future; Barclays employees are invited to take part and to
help us to support more young people to achieve their ambitions – this
is what Citizenship at Barclays does.

Thank you in advance for your donation
