Story

Thank you for visiting the Dufton Kellner sponsored team "DK Challenge 24" fundraising page.  We are making an attempt on the world record for furthest distance travelled in a kite powered buggy over a 24 hour period. It's on the beach at Hoylake in June this year and we will be competing against teams coming from as far as Germany to take part in the "BridgingFinanceLimited Hoylake 24" To find out more about the team and the event visit us here.

Team leader David Edwards says "The challenge we face is for only 24 hours, the  children and parents who utilise Claire House face challenges on a daily basis. By supporting us you will help Claire House maintain the level of dedicated care they currently provide"

Janet Croker Head of Appeals at Claire House said, “It means a huge amount to us at Claire House to have the support of the DK Challenge 24 team. We rely 100% on donations to provide our vital services for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and events such as this are a great opportunity for everyone to get involved and play their part. Not only will very welcome funds be achieved but also the publicity that is generated will help to keep the work of Claire House in the public eye. Good luck to the team from all the children and families at Claire House.”

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Claire House Children's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor DK Challenge 24 now!

Many thanks for your support.
