SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS (SOS)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. (Just Giving is a safe way to donate).

The charity row took place on 27 Feb 10 at David Lloyd Fitness Club (Bromsgrove) when we rowed for 14 hours non stop in teams of two.  It was hard and we hurt!!  We rowed over 600 miles as a team which equates to rowing from  Bromsgrove to Glasgow and back!

At the moment we are counting the money and we will post the full result up here as soon as we know it.

Everyone rowed really well and put in considerable effort.

So far David Lloyd members donated £840.57 altogether (£180 donated on-line from notes thrown in buckets and donated on-line by Ian and Theresa (see donations) and £660.57 in sealed buckets.  We are still waiting for some more pledged money to roll in.  The off-line total also includes sponsors from Ian's work, both pledges and donations to the charity tin to the tune of £116.69.  Thank you to everyone there.

Members of the team and their families are also still collecting personal sponsorship which will be added as soon as possible.
