24 Peaks Challenge · 15 June 2013

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

DLG Digital Team "Aims Higher"

On the 14th to 17th June, we will be attempting to walk 24 peaks within 24 hours in the Lake District , covering a total of 51 km with an ascent of 14,000 ft. Not as easy as it sounds! In addition to blisters, hypothermia, etc, we are also aiming to raise some money for charity, which DLG will match up to £750.

Our chosen charity is Cancer Research; fighting to prevent something that many of us have been touched by in some way. All donations will be much appreciated.
