Once again David Lloyd Swindon and Marks and Spencer's Outlet have joined forces to create the ultimate fundraising challenge....

Starting in the early hours of Saturday 4th September 2010, sixteen football players made up from David Lloyd members, staff, friends and Marks and Spencer's employees will attempt to break the Guinness world record for the longest 5 a side football match.  The attempt will be for 34 hours and finish at 4pm on the 5th September. At the same time and in the same room we will also have 2 tennis players attempting to break the record for the longest tennis match which currently is scheduled to start at 3am with a little help from the Mayor of Swindon.

The event has been in the planning since January 2010, and involves some brilliant and very committed volunteers behind the scenes.
