Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race · 25 February 2006

Each day in the UK five families are told their child has cancer or leukaemia. From that moment on their lives will never be the same again. Most children will survive, some will die, but the scars on every family will remain. CLIC's role is to try and help these children and their families cope and keep life as normal as possible. It offers an all-embracing approach including practical hands-on care, clinical services, financial and emotional support. CLIC has joined together with Sargent Cancer Care for Children to become the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.

Story

This Easter we are competing in the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Marathon, a 125 mile none-stop race that will take between 18 and 20 hours.

We are raising money for CLIC Sargent, a charity for children with cancer and leukaemia and would be very grateful if you could help. Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, please dig deep and sponsor us online.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CLIC will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
