Intensive Care Unit in Gaza · 25 October 2014
Gaza has suffered extreme destruction of its civilian infrastructure: hospitals, schools and places of worship were amongst the worst affected. Meanwhile thousands of Gazans sustained severe injuries and were left homeless. The region's health services, as a result, are being overwhelmed by an avalanche of acute and traumatic injuries. Moreover the hard inadequacies in access to shelter, clean water, heating, food and medical supplies has caused a healthcare crisis. To help, we are raising money to build a new intensive care unit in Gaza.
