I have always wanted to have a go at a marathon & visit the Himalaya, so being completely barking I'm doing both by having a shot at the Everest Marathon on 4th December. I'm told its easy, its sunny, a walk in the park on a comfortable afternoon. ( am starting to have suspicions it might not be, the Everest Marathon website mentions something about it being a full 26 miles starting at 17,000 feet at a possible temperature of -20C with some climbs of 850metres in there somewhere & not being pushed off canyon ledges by passing yak trains).
