On the 18 of October this year we will be celebrating 25 years since my mothers successful kidney transplant.  Prior to this operation my mother had to sit on a machine for 5 hours three times a week to keep her alive. 

Without the work of this organisation it is certain that my mother would have missed the birth of her 5 grandchildren and both my sisters and my weddings.

I am completing the three peaks challenge to put a little back to what not only my father, sister and I have benefited from but all the her grandchildren who absolutely adore her.

Her kidney is named Oscar and will be 25 this year, so happy birthday Oscar and thank you KWF!
