BRIGHTON POEM-A-THON · 11 December 2016

The Refugee Council is the nation’s refugee charity. Together with community groups, partners and volunteers, we help people who have escaped war and persecution to rebuild their lives, integrate into communities, and play their part in Britain.

Story

FRIENDS. Yes that's right you, ppl who have said numerous times that you'd like to see me read but in the end had evening plans or I didn't actually invite you because it's a bit embarrassing, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. Come and watch me say uncomfortably personal things in public in a slightly rhythmic manner.

Between 12 noon to 10 pm on Sunday 11th December, a relay of 60 poets and readers will each read for 8 minutes throughout the day, at the Komedia, Brighton.

Start: 12 noon
Finish: 10 p.m

Audience members can join us at any time throughout the day, staying for as long or as short a time as they wish. There will be refreshments, a bookstall and tombola as well as information about our charity.
