Hi,

My name is Dak. I am 20 years old and come from Thailand. I came to live in Scotland 2 years ago with my Scottish husband. I love everything about Scotland, the people are so helpful and friendly and the weather is nice and cool. I have made a lot of Scottish friends and I work and go to college here.

From May 13th until May 20th I will be attempting to walk the 96 miles of the West Highland Way with my husband Ian. Ian has done it before but I've never done anything like it. It even feels funny wearing boots for walking.

We are going to do a lot of practice walks up some mountains.

I thought it would be nice if I could try and raise some money for a Scottish charity to give something back to my adopted homeland; thats' why I have decided to raise money for Big-Hearted Scotland. http://www.bigheartedscotland.org/

 

My husband and I have a blog where we will keep you updated with photo's and videos of our training and a day by day diary acount of my big adventure walking nearly 100 miles in the Scottish Highlands.
